The “Abeiku” song singer and the living legend, James Kwaku Tuffour, who is known by a stage name and in the musical industry as Nana Tuffour which is always shortened as 9924 is also a Valentine’s day born. The singer who turned to 65 this year on the 14th of February was duly honoured and celebrated by the management of Angel Broadcasting Network(ABN). The musician was invited and was celebrated during the morning show on Angel 96.1FM on his birthday. On honouring the invitation, he went with his wife and one of his children. The son showered praises on his father on how he has showed them(the children) love and good parenting.
On the turn of his wife, she narrated how the musician has been a loving husband and a partner even through their early stages of life when they met. She revealed that they met during the secondary schools days in the now Asanteman Senior High School in Kumasi where he was her senior. She says the musician is always cool, supportive and understanding.

When pushed to answer if Nana Tuffour has never cheated on her, she tittered and answered that indeed she has caught him severally on such but she always forgave him and kept it cool as if nothing happened. She explained further that, creating a scene and fighting your partner on such situations do not help but rather break you. She reiterated that the love, respect, support and understanding for each other have been the major reasons they have been together for over 40 years. She has always understood his musical life; and will always do and support him.
Nana Tuffour has many albums to his name. Some of these albums are Genesis, Sasankroma, Sankofa, Tontonte, Abeiku just to mention few.
