Lately the Ghana Movie Industry has come under a lot of bashing and criticism from all and sundry. Movie directors, producers, actors and actresses are all feeling the heat but our movies celebrities are obviously the ones constantly bemoaning over the lack of proper structures. The tourism, arts and culture ministry was not spared either as actor/producer Prince David Osei accused the tourism minister Hon. Catherine Afeku of failing to make any impact on the creative arts industry ever since she got appointed.
Kwaku Manu, Agya Koo, Lilwin, Prince David Osei, Frank Fiifi Gharbin, Ola Michael and even our own Godfather of GH comedy KSM are a few list of industry players that have spit some bitter grouse words about the ugly fallout of the movie industry.
The newest to voice and vent out her frustration in the industry is Ghanaian actress and screen goddess, Jasmine Baroudi. She took to her Instagram account and vehemently complained about the appalling and ridiculous way some production houses treats some of them, the movie actors, when it comes to paying them for their services. She further sent a message across to the production houses owing her to get ready for her as she takes a different action to rightfully get what is hers.
