It’s been in the news recently that sensational reggae/dancehall artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla known in the showbiz circles as Stonebwoy Aka StoneGod has been appointed and employed by the ruling government NPP’s Energy Minister Hon. Peter Amewu to help nurture and mentor the musical talents of the youths in the Volta Region to create more music stars.
In a meeting held with Stonebwoy the minister Hon. Peter Amewu disclosed that the agenda is to create more music stars not just in his constituency, Hohoe municipal but The Volta Region as a whole.
Hon. Peter Amewu said:
“The message is simple, we need music superstars in the Hohoe municipality. Building capacity is my agenda”.
Meanwhile Stonebwoy on his part accepted the role offered by the minister.
Speaking about this on Hitz Fm’s Cruise Control show in a segment dubbed “U Sey Weytin” Prince Tsega otherwise known as Da Don heaped praises on Stonebwoy for his latest agenda and appointment, he stated his pleasure of seeing Stonebwoy not doing this because he hails from there but because of his passion and dream for the project.
He further encouraged Ghanaians to see this as a step in the right direction and not affiliate Stonebwoy’s decision with the NPP party’s brouhaha…
