HighLife and Afrobeats artist Francisca Gawugah Duncan Williams known by stage name as Sista Afia, who shot to fame with her hit single “Jeje” which features dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and Afezi Perry doesn’t think she has lost her relevancy. We can all attest to the fact that her rise to fame included her exposing a lot of flesh and series of banter with her fellow industry colleagues.
In a recent online interview wid Kobby Kyei, a question was directed at her with regards to her loosing relevancy in the industry. Kobby asked “Some believes you’re loosing relevance in the industry…What is causing that, because it seems you are not as active as you need to be”.
In responding to this Sista Afia said: “I’m not loosing relevance. I’m just not doing anything controversial or negative anymore. Gone are the days when Sista Afia was making too many headlines, now the only headline you’ll get from me should be about my music. Enough of the unnecessary attention”…
